Come in and get to know us! During the Winter we meet at Le Manoir Phillipsburg Seniors residence.

Phillipsburg St Pauls Anglican Church History

The first Anglican missionaries in the region were in Phillipsburg St Armand.

Baptisms in the area were carried out by travelling to Montreal in February. It was a two day journey each way. Whole families were bundled up with a horse and sleigh. An ice bridge was used to cross the St Lawrence in January or February. This certainly attests to the hardiness of the United Empire loyalists from New York State that were the pioneer families in the region.
