Andy's Christmas Pastoral Message 2016

I would like to wish you and your family all the blessings during the Christmas season and into the New Year.

It is my wish that this season is enriched through worship, Holy Scripture, carols and fellowship during Advent,

Christmas, Epiphany and beyond.

Within the Regional Ministry we have a range of different services and times this Christmas weekend, rooted in

either the Anglo-Catholic or the low church tradition.  All will be faithfully and prayerfully done, with familiar Holy Scripture,

Carols and Eucharist.  The Christmas Eve services starts at St Paul’s Philipsburg at 4:00 pm.

Next is the popular bilingual service at St James the Lesser at Pigeon Hill, complete with oil lamps and

wood heat, at 6:00 pm.  St James the Apostle and Martyr in Farnham will be at 7:30 pm.

St. James the Apostle Stanbridge-East is at 8:00 pm and St James Bedford is at 9:30 pm.

For me it continues to be a blessing to be the incumbent of the Regional Ministry of Bedford &

Stanbridge-East and as of April, the Regional Dean of Bedford and Brome-Shefford.

I enjoy sharing ministry with the Rev. Marc-Philippe Vincent and the Ven. Peter Hannen,

with the Lay-readers, Wardens and Treasurers.

I would like to leave you with an Irish blessing:

Yours in Christ,

The Rev. Andy O’Donnell
